Measured, tangible and crafted.

Organic, handmade content, shot on film

Our Services

  • We offer 35mm film as a production format for brands looking to create content with a distinctive, textured aesthetic - natural grain, rich tones, and subtle imperfections that digital can’t replicate. It’s a medium that delivers honesty and organic depth, bringing a human and nostalgic feel to each frame.

  • We offer medium format (120) film as a production format for brands looking to create content with a refined, cinematic aesthetic. Thanks to its larger negative compared to 35mm, medium format delivers smoother images with finer grain, greater detail, and a broader dynamic range. The result is a soft, natural depth that feels calm, intimate, and richly atmospheric - imagery that carries a quiet confidence and a timeless, considered quality digital simply can’t match.

Film stocks such as; Kodak Gold, Portra 400 and Tri-X, Ilford HP5

  • 8mm and 16mm captures moving images with a tactile, nostalgic quality that digital video can’t replicate. With their smaller frame sizes, these formats produce a softer, grainier texture - full of flicker, warmth, and character - that feels raw, natural, and emotionally resonant. Unlike the slick precision of digital, shooting on real film signals intent, taste, and a commitment to storytelling that feels handcrafted.

Why Choose Film?

    Authenticity Over Perfection

Film is real, a tangible object. Its imperfections, grain, light leaks, soft edges signal something human and honest. In contrast to the flawless, polished aesthetic of digital and AI content, film suggests trustworthiness, authenticity and organicness.

    Cultural Credibility

Film carries creative cachet. It signals craft, patience, and taste, values often lost in a digital-first world. The process is slow and intentional, demanding a far deeper level of technical understanding. It’s not instant; it’s learned through experience, knowledge, and time. Film aligns with slow-making, independent thinking, and a commitment to artistic integrity.

    Visual Distinctiveness

Film stock offers a depth of texture and color that digital struggles to replicate. Its tonal richness and natural dynamic range give images a distinct, tactile quality.

The Process

  • Planning a film shoot requires more detail and intention from the outset. We begin by carefully selecting the right film stock (35mm or 120 for stills, 8mm or 16mm for motion). Kodak Gold, Portra, Ilford HP5, 500t, 50d etc… each stock brings its own texture, tone, and purpose, shaping the aesthetics of the project from the very beginning.

  • Film is a slower, more deliberate production process. We take our time with every shot, paying close attention to exposure, framing, and how the film will respond to light. With no instant playback or opportunity for reshoots, it’s about getting everything right in-camera. With a slower process comes less content than digital.

What you lose in volume, you gain in intention and craft.

  • Once exposed, our film is sent to trusted lab partners for development. Each stock has its own chemistry and processing time, and we work closely with the labs to ensure the results bring out the full depth and nuance of the material. Depending on the stock and format, this process can take up to 10 days.

  • After development, negatives and reels are professionally hand scanned. From there, we decide whether to hand-print select images or deliver high-resolution digital scans.

We always preserving the film’s unique character and organic quality, with no retouching or AI interference…
